Humans are obviously humans, plain and simple. Some humans can have powers or be naturally good at magic. Witches are similar to the above, but they specifically practice witchcraft.

These are people with animal features like ears, tails, horns, wings, and so on. You can make these however you want.

Werewolves are very similar to wolf hybrids but are supernatural beings. They get power from the moon and moonstones, boosting things like strength, stamina, navigation, speed, scent, and agility. The Great Moonstone, located in Europe, is a giant cave full of moonstone crystals. Smaller, similar caves exist all over the world, connected via ley lines to the main cave. Werewolves have wolf features and can turn into wolves. Ancient werewolves are you classic, mutant werewolves.

Vampires are pretty self explanatory. They feed off of blood, whether it's from humans or animals. They can feed directly or buy packets of blood and drink them like a Capri-Sun. Vampires tend to live in colonies and/or by clan and are very strict with tradition. Wandering vampires aren’t uncommon. They live independently and usually don’t like to stay in one place. They go against tradition.

Angels are pure spirits, born from light, who live in the realm of Heaven and keep balance in the Cosmos. The angels follow a strict hierarchy, with 9 Choirs (high to low):

Seraphim : six wings, leaders

Cherubim : guardians of divine secrets and stars

Thrones : represents divine justice

Dominions : rules over the lower ranks

Virtues : embodies grace and courage, role models to the low ranks

Powers : warrior angels which fight off evils

Principalities : guardian angels

Archangels : divine messengers

Angels : typically lives among humans

An angel's rank can be boosted by purity, accomplishments, or personal growth. The whiter an angel's feathers are, the purer they are. As an angel loses purity, one-by-one their feathers will get darker.

The Underworld is split into many kingdoms, which is mainly organized by the type of demon. Fallen angels are demons who were once angels that have lost all purity, or were born from former angels. They have (usually black) feathered wings and horns and are easily distinguishable from other kinds of demons. Pure demons can come in many forms. They’re usually the ones causing trouble.

Merfolk typically look different based on where they come from, whether it's reef, abyssal, river, arctic, or swamp and so on. For example, if someone is from a coral reef, they may take on the appearance of a clownfish. They live in communities or independently. You also have water sirens which are the kind of merfolk that lure in people with beautiful singing.

Your general ghosts have a few different variants.

Poltergeist : noisy, mischievous, disturbing ghosts which can be dangerous

Hauntings : events that happen over and over again, they cannot be interacted with

Intelligent Spirits : aware of who, what, and where they are

Shadow People : black humanoid figures in the corners of your vision

Vengeful Spirits : ghosts driven by past negative emotions, acting in revenge or distress

Revenants are reanimated corpses. Banshees have a scream which is said to foretell death.From Romania, moroi are vampire-like ghosts that draw energy from the living.

Anything from mythology, mixes between species, and your own made up creatures are also possible!
